The Moon, which is a mysterious celestial body, rules people born under the sign of Cancer and this mystery reflects very strongly upon the Cancer individual. Most Cancers carry within themselves great contradictions. They are extremely sensitive, which obviously has both good and bad sides. They can be compassionate with loved ones, but can also make hurtful remarks when they feel threatened. They simply will not function well if they are with someone who is too pragmatic and practical to allow the Cancer to share their emotions. Someone born under the sign of Cancer will need a partner who makes them feel warm and safe and loved. With such depth of emotion, they may find their soul-mate in a Scorpio, Piscean, or even another Cancer.
