How To Get A Boyfriend
How to get a boyfriend is a question that we have all had to ask at some time or another. Unfortunately there is no foolproof way to find your dream boyfriend or your Mr Right. Most guys have some similarities, but also have significant differences from one to another. Let me share with you this Love Quote:
“I have found men who didn’t know how to kiss.
I’ve always found time to teach them.”
- Mae West
Here are a couple ideas that tend to hold true for most guys:
1. Meet new people. If you want to get a boyfriend, then you have to go out there and look for one. You have to get out of the house to meet Mr Right. That’s the only way that you can find him. Go to parties. Travel to other countries. Go see a play with some friends from work or school. Join a book club. The actual activity isn’t even all that important, as long as you get to meet new guys though it.
2. Be confident! Confidence is amazingly attractive to guys. Always remember that you are a fantastic girl who would be an awesome girlfriend! Be proud of who you are. When you have confidence, you stand out from everyone else, which is great when you are trying to get a boyfriend.
3. Smile. Most guys are attracted to a girl who is carefree rather than a girl who looks like she is grumpy. A smile is a beautiful thing, and it shows that you are cool and fun to be around, both of which are things that a boy looks for in a potential girlfriend.
4. Look your best. Obviously you are only going to be with someone who likes you for more than just your good looks, but your appearance is an easy thing for a guy to notice. Always make sure that you are looking incredible if you are planning on seeing him.
5. Pay him attention. Guys and girls are pretty similar in that they both love getting attention. Give him compliments (but only if they are sincere). It also helps to notice when he changes his hair or appearance. All of the things that you like people to notice about you, guys like you to notice about them. If you can make a guy feel pleased that he has your attention, then you are well on the way to having his attention too.
6. Be interested in his life. Does he play sport? Go watch him play sometime. Did he just join a band as a guitarist? You could mention that you have always wanted learn yourself, and then ask if he will teach you? If you have similar hobbies to your potential boyfriend, that’s a great way to spend extra time with him.
7. Don’t talk about your ex! Guys will lose interest instantly if a girl starts talking about her ex-boyfriend. It’s no fun for the new guy to hear about, and it also makes it look as though you are still in love with your ex. Not a good plan if you are trying to get a boyfriend.
