Most guys want to know how to get a girlfriend. A nice girl who you are keen on and who is keen on you is not always easy find, but it’s worth the effort. Before we go through some of the ways to get a girlfriend, have a read of this love quote:

How to get a girlfriend:

1. Decide what you want in a girlfriend. Someone who likes the same movies as you? A vegan? Do you want someone sporty? Are you looking for a soul mate, or just someone to hang out with? Someone who plays the guitar and can join your band? Deciding what sort of girlfriend you are looking for is the best place to start. If you aren’t sure what you want, then it can be hard to tell when you’ve found it. You might even discover that the girl from accounting is exactly the girl you have been looking for all this time.

2. Be confident. Confidence is very appealing. At a party if there is one guy telling jokes in the centre of the room, and another guy quietly sitting in the corner, then most people’s attention will be on the first guy. There is nothing right or wrong about it, it is just how the world is. Make sure that you don’t cross the line from “confident” to “arrogant” though. That’s never a good look.

3. Meet new people. If you want to get a girlfriend, then you have to go out there and find one. You have to get out of the house to meet people. There just isn’t any other way it can be done. Go to parties. Join a book club. Travel to other countries. Go to the theatre with some friends. Join a table-tennis team. It doesn’t really matter what it is that you’re doing, as long as you get to meet new people. 

4. Relax. Nothing ruins your chances with a girl more than when you seem desperate (except maybe things from the Don’t Do on a Date” list). Take it easy, and don’t make a big issue out of this “boyfriend-girlfriend” situation. You are going to find the right girl. You just need to get out there, and then trust that you will find her.

5. Be a datable guy. If you want a girl to love you, then you have to be the type of guy that a girl could fall in love with. Are you fun to be around? Are you a caring and considerate person? Are you honest? Are you the type of guy that you would want your sister to date? Do you treat others with respect, and do you have respect for yourself as well? If your answer to these questions is “not really .”, then maybe you should work out why it isn’t a “yes”, and then find a way to change those things. If you want to find a girl that will love and respect you, you must first be able to love and respect yourself.

6. Don’t quit! Sometimes it can feel as though we won’t ever find a girl that is right for us. We have all thought, “Well, maybe there just isn’t anyone for me”. Push those thoughts aside! As long as you don’t give up, you will find exactly the sort of girl that you are looking for.
