All guys are different, and what works for getting one guys attention, might not work for another. Here are a few general ideas of how to get a guy to like you:

1. Like yourself first! Confidence is very attractive. Never forget that you are a wonderful person, and that you would make an incredible girlfriend. Always be proud of who you are, and don’t be afraid to show it. When you are confident, you stand out from the crowd, which is exactly what you want when you are trying to get a guy to like you.

2. Be interested in things that he is interested in. Does he play football? Go watch his games. Is he into rock climbing? You could let him know that you have always wanted to try it yourself, and then ask if he will teach you. The more things that you have in common, the more chance you have.

3. Don’t talk about your ex! Nothing makes a guy lose interest faster than a girl talking about her ex-boyfriend all the time. It’s really not much fun for the new guy to hear about, and it also makes you look like you are still hung up on your last fella.

4. Smile often. Most guys will be more interested in a girl who is carefree than a girl who looks like she is stressed and grumpy all the time. When you smile, it shows that you are happy and fun to be around, both things that guys like in a girl.

5. Give him attention. Everyone likes getting attention, even guys. Give him compliments (but only if they are sincere compliments). Notice when he changes his hair or his clothes. The exact same things that you like people to notice about you, guys like people to notice about them. It always makes you feel good when someone takes an interest in you, and if you can make a guy feel that way, then that’s a huge advantage.

6. Look your best. Obviously you want a guy to like you for more than just the way you look, but it’s still helps to look good. Your appearance is the easiest thing for a guy to notice, so make sure that whenever you see him you are looking fantastic.
